Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

This is our working version while Rhomb Community formalizes its paperwork. If anything here is unclear or you need it in writing, email hello@rhomb.uz and we'll answer directly.

Booking a seat

A booking reserves a specific number of seats on a specific departure date. Seats are limited per trip — group sizes are capped by the trail, not by van capacity — so a booking is only confirmed once payment goes through and you receive a booking code.

The passenger details you enter must be accurate. The guide uses them for check-in and, if needed, to reach your emergency contact.

Payment

Prices are shown per person in the currency listed on the trip page and include everything in that trip's "What's included" list. Anything in "Not included" is your own cost. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never store card details.

Cancellations and changes

Plans change. If you can't make a trip, tell us as early as you can — the earlier a seat frees up, the more likely someone else can take it.

We're finalizing the exact refund windows for each trip type. Until they're published here, write to hello@rhomb.uz and we'll sort out your specific booking directly.

If we cancel a trip — weather, road conditions, or too few people — you can move to another date or get the amount you paid back in full.

Safety and your own responsibility

Hiking carries real risk. Every trip lists its difficulty, distance, and elevation so you can judge it honestly, and every guide carries a first-aid kit and knows the bail-out points on the route. You're responsible for arriving with the gear listed for the trip and for telling us about any medical condition that affects you on the trail.

A guide can turn a group around, change a route, or ask someone to stop for safety reasons. On the trail, their call is final.

On the trail

Be on time at the meeting point — a group can't wait long without losing daylight. Follow the guide's instructions, carry your rubbish back out with you, and leave the trail as you found it. We may end someone's participation, without a refund, for behavior that puts the group at risk.

Photos

We take photos on most trips and share some of them on our Instagram and this site. Tell your guide or email us if you'd rather not appear in them, and we'll leave you out or take a photo down.
